Day 1 — Arrival in Casablanca

Arrive at Casablanca Airport, where your professional driver will greet you and assist with your transfer to your accommodation. If time allows, you may visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque — a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture and one of the largest mosques in the world — before settling in for your first night.

After breakfast, depart for the charming coastal town of Essaouira. Upon arrival, enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic coastline before checking in. Explore the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter), wander through the old medina, stroll along the Skala Fortress overlooking the sea, and experience the lively atmosphere of the local fish market. Relax on the sandy beach and enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze.

Travel inland to Marrakech, known as the “Red City.” Begin your exploration with a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, admire the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, explore the Saadian Tombs, and visit the elegant Bahia Palace. End your day in the vibrant souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

Leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, renowned for its traditional earthen architecture, then continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert. Explore the Taourirt Kasbah and local film studios before your overnight stay.

Journey through southern Morocco’s dramatic landscapes, passing the Dades Valley and striking red rock formations. Continue through Tinghir with its lush palm groves, then head to Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, switch to camels and ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi for an unforgettable desert experience.

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at your desert camp, choose from a variety of activities: visit Khamlia village for traditional Gnawa music, take a 4×4 excursion across rocky landscapes and fossil sites, or meet a nomadic family to learn about their way of life. Alternatively, relax and enjoy the serenity of the desert.

After breakfast, travel north through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou to see cedar forests and Barbary macaques, and pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Enjoy a peaceful break in Imouzzer before continuing to Fes for an overnight stay.

Explore Fes with an expert guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and enjoy panoramic views over the medina. Discover the ceramics district, then explore the ancient medina, including the Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum, Nejjarine Museum, Attarine Madrasa, Al Karaouine University, and the famous leather tanneries.

Depart Fes and visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue to the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, then explore Meknes, including Bab Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and its historic squares and souks. Continue through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen for an overnight stay.

Spend the day discovering Chefchaouen’s peaceful blue streets, traditional kasbah, and scenic surroundings. Visit Uta el-Hammam Square, explore the Kasbah, enjoy the Ras El Maa river area, and optionally hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views.

After breakfast, travel to Tangier, where African and European influences blend. Visit Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, explore the Caves of Hercules, and wander through the Old Medina. Discover the Kasbah and visit the American Legation Museum.

Depart Tangier for Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, explore the Chellah ruins, and stroll through the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the ocean. Continue to Casablanca for your final night.

On your final day, your driver will transfer you to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable journey through Morocco. Optional drop-off is available in Fes, Rabat, or Tangier upon request.
