Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, your driver will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to your accommodation. If time permits, you may visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautifully crafted mosques in Morocco, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 2: Casablanca → Essaouira
After breakfast, travel through scenic countryside and argan tree landscapes toward the charming coastal town of Essaouira. Upon arrival, enjoy views of the Atlantic before exploring the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter), the Skala Fortress overlooking the sea, the old medina, and the lively fish market. Relax along the sandy beaches and take in the refreshing ocean breeze.
Day 3: Essaouira → Marrakech
After breakfast, journey inland to Marrakech while admiring Morocco’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival, begin your guided tour with visits to the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. In the evening, experience the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the bustling souks.
Day 4: Marrakech → Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a remarkable ksar known for its earthen architecture and film history. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will explore Taourirt Kasbah and local film studios.
Day 5: Ouarzazate → Tinghir
Travel through the stunning landscapes of the Dades Valley, stopping in Kelaat Mgouna, famous for its roses. Continue to Tinghir, surrounded by palm groves and dramatic canyon scenery. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in this oasis setting.
Day 6: Tinghir → Merzouga
After breakfast, journey through desert landscapes via Erfoud, known for its fossils, and visit Rissani, a traditional market town. Arrive in Merzouga, where you will switch to camels and trek into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a magical sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 7: Sahara Exploration
Wake early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, choose from various activities: visit Khamlia village for traditional Gnawa music, take a 4×4 excursion across volcanic landscapes and fossil sites, or meet a nomadic family. Alternatively, relax and enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere.
Day 8: Merzouga → Fes via Middle Atlas
Travel north through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou to see cedar forests and Barbary macaques, then pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Enjoy a stop in Imouzzer before arriving in Fes for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Free Day in Fes
Enjoy a free day to explore Fes at your own pace. You may visit hidden souks, relax in a traditional hammam, or wander through the ancient medina and markets.
Day 10: Fes Guided Tour
Discover Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and enjoy panoramic views over the medina. Explore artisan areas, including ceramics workshops, and visit landmarks such as Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum, Nejjarine Museum, Attarine Madrasa, Al Karaouine University (exterior), and the famous leather tanneries.
Day 11: Fes → Volubilis & Meknes → Chefchaouen
Depart Fes to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, known for their well-preserved mosaics. Continue to Moulay Idriss, a sacred hilltop town, then explore Meknes with its grand Bab Mansour Gate, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and lively souks. In the afternoon, travel to Chefchaouen for an overnight stay.
Day 12: Full Day in Chefchaouen
Spend the day exploring Chefchaouen’s beautiful blue streets, markets, and cultural sites. Visit the Kasbah, relax in Uta el-Hammam Square, explore the Ras El Maa valley, and optionally hike to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views.
Day 13: Chefchaouen → Tangier
