Arrive in Fez after 5 unforgettable days filled with adventure, cultural discovery, and breathtaking scenery.
Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Marrakech through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an ancient fortified village renowned for its iconic red mudbrick architecture.
After exploring Ait Benhaddou, continue to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. You will also explore the renowned film studios, where many international movies have been filmed.
At the end of the day, you will check into your hotel in Ouarzazate, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay
After breakfast, depart from Ouarzazate and travel toward Tinghir through the scenic Dades Valley. Along the way, you will stop in Kelaat Mgouna, a town known for its rose production, especially during the annual Rose Festival. You will also pass through Skoura, a charming oasis famous for its palm groves and historic kasbahs.
Continue toward Tinghir, a town surrounded by lush palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide for a short trekking experience in either Boumalne Dades or Tinghir. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, continue your journey through the desert region, passing through Erfoud, known for its fossils and date production.
Next, head to the historic town of Rissani, famous for its traditional market and rich heritage.
By the afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will switch from your vehicle to camels and begin an unforgettable trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, you may visit Khamlia village to enjoy traditional Gnawa music performed by the local community.
Later, you will have several options: visit Rissani to taste the famous Medfouna (Berber pizza), take a 4×4 excursion to explore volcanic landscapes and ancient fossils, or visit a nomadic family to learn about their traditional desert lifestyle. Alternatively, you may choose to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert camp.
After breakfast, begin your journey to Fez through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop in Azrou, known for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques, and pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture.
Before reaching Fez, you will make a short stop in Imouzzer, a peaceful mountain town.
You will then continue to Fez, Morocco’s historic imperial city, where your tour comes to an end.
