Arrive in Marrakech after 5 unforgettable days filled with adventure, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Fez and begin your journey toward Midelt, traveling through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains.
Along the way, stop in Imouzzer, known for its refreshing waterfalls and natural beauty. Continue to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” thanks to its alpine-style architecture and cool climate.
A short break in Azrou allows you to explore its cedar forests and possibly encounter Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.
After these scenic stops, continue to Midelt, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Depart from Midelt and head toward the Sahara Desert. The journey takes you through the spectacular Ziz Valley, with its dramatic landscapes, palm groves, and panoramic views.
Continue through the vast Tafilalt Oasis, one of the largest in Morocco, dotted with traditional Berber villages. Then visit Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and spiritual heritage, including the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum.
By afternoon, arrive at the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Here, you will switch to camels for a memorable trek across the golden sands.
Enjoy a magical sunset before reaching your desert camp, where you will have a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night under the stars.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, visit Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnawa music performed by the local community.
You can then choose between several activities: take a 4×4 excursion to explore volcanic rock formations and fossil sites, or visit a nomadic family to learn about their traditional desert lifestyle.
For a more relaxing experience, you may simply stay at the camp and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
After breakfast, depart from Merzouga and head toward Ouarzazate. Travel via Tinghir, a town surrounded by palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes.
Stop at the impressive Todra Gorge, known for its towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters, where you can enjoy a short walk and admire the scenery.
Continue through the scenic Dades Valley, then pass by Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose fields, and Skoura, a charming oasis known for its palm groves and historic kasbahs.
Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening.
After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and the film studios, where many international movies were produced.
Continue to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its remarkable mud-brick architecture and cinematic history.
After your visit, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking views along the way before arriving in Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location.
