Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Marrakech through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an ancient fortified village renowned for its iconic red mudbrick architecture.
After exploring Ait Benhaddou, continue to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. You will also explore the renowned film studios, where many international movies have been filmed.
The journey continues through the beautiful Dades Valley, with a stop in Kelaat Mgouna, a town well known for its rose production.
By the end of this long and captivating day, you will arrive in Boumalne Dades, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional kasbah hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, depart toward Tinghir, a town surrounded by lush palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes. From there, continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, where you can admire the towering cliffs and enjoy a short walk through the canyon.
Afterward, continue through the desert region, passing through Erfoud and Rissani, a historic town known for its lively market and rich cultural heritage.
By the afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga. Here, you will switch from your vehicle to camels and begin an unforgettable trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying a traditional dinner under the stars.
